SCAN+GO CARD is the latest invention of Automated Member Services, Inc. (AMS) the leader in self-service gifting. Over the past 20 years, our team has developed and implemented a number of highly successful marketing services, along with a few that might be ahead of their time. In all cases, AMS, INC. solves real customer-facing issues. As former retail managers we understand customer's needs and the opportunity these solutions represent to our clients to be successful in the long-run. We also take this view in crafting our solutions so that they are easy for customers to use and are flexible, extendable and reliable for our clients.


  • CLUB WEDD:
    the nation's first electronic self service gift registry, which we invented, deployed, and operated for TARGET, growing it to the largest in the country. Sales directly attributed to the program we created are estimated to exceed $1.0 Billion annually.
  • INTERACTIVE SELF-SERVICE KIOSKS:
    were invented (pioneered) by our team in the early 1990's because they facilitated convenience and expanded choice. Due to cost, reliability, flexibility and maintenance issues, we designed SCAN+GO CARD to eliminate the need for kiosks for registration.
  • THE GIFT CERTIFICATE CENTER:
    (GiftCert.com) was started by us in 1990, because it was a great customer service that was asleep in the industry. We provided a one-stop shop for purchasing gift certificates and eventually gift cards from over 300 merchants via phone, web, and kiosks. It is now owned by Hallmark and is estimated to achieve sales in excess of $200 million annually. With the gift card industry at $97 Billion, it's not asleep anymore!
  • PREMIER CHOICE AWARDS:
    were also invented by a team we led who saw an opportunity to provide gift certificates from our retail clients to corporations to use as a simple, cost effective incentive for their employees and customers. It is now owned and operated by Hallmark under the name: Insights, and continues its successful trajectory.
  • UNIVERSAL GIFT REGISTRY SERVICE:
    was invented by us to help customers register at multiple stores and build one comprehensive list. AMS, INC. deployed this in one mall: MallGiftRegistry.com, but felt the market was not ready to properly monetize the solution so it is on hold.



  • GOBIRTHDAY CLUB:
    the only online birthday club that's kid-friendly and parent approved. GOBirthday Club meets the needs of busy young families by providing printable online coupons and gift ideas to support the celebration of children's birthdays with the touch of the 'GO' Button.
